ertified fire investigators licensed by the State of Florida routinely conduct investigations to determine the cause and origin on accidental, suspicious/deliberate and high dollar losses due to fire. These investigators work closely with the Winter Park Police Department and the Florida State Fire Marshal’s Office on all arson cases in an effort to reduce the number of these fires through prosecution by our judicial system. Continuing educational programs keep these trained individuals up-to-date on their investigative skills and to maintain licensing within the State of Florida.
