The Winter Park
Fire-Rescue Department holds a multitude of educational
courses intended to train the general public. These course
include CPR - First Aid and Bloodbourne Pathogen which are
offered at different times throughout the year. To schedule

CPR CERTIFICATION
TRAINING

Cost -
$30 per student

LENGTH
- 4 Hours
|
|
This class
will help students identify the need to perform CPR,
to perform the Heimlich Maneuver and to use an Automatic
External Defibrillator.

FIRST AID
| COST: $30 per student |
| LENGTH: 4 hours |
| This class will teach
students how to control bleeding, bandage and splint.
Other topics will include poisoning, burns, heat emergencies,
venomousbites, shock
and more. |
BLOODBOURNE
PATHOGEN / MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS
| COST: $20 per student |
| LENGTH: 2 hours
|
| This course covers the
safe practices for dealing with bloodbourne contamination
prevention. |
