Emergency Communications Operators Needed

Winter Park Emergency Communications is the answering point for police, fire, and medical calls where cross trained operators utilize the latest software and radio-telephone equipment to provide a high quality level of service. Our Emergency Communicaitons Center is housed in a new state-of-the-art Public Safety Facility.

Located in Orange County Florida, 25 miles north of Walt Disney World, Winter Park's surroundings are elegant proving century old oaks, quaint brick streets and thousands of acres of lakes. Home to Rollins College and the world class Park Avenue.

Applicants' must successfully pass an oral interview, interactive dispatching environment skills test, and background investigation. Upon receiving a conditional offer of employment a polygraph, physiological exam, physical exam, and drug screen will be conducted.

Candidates with 2 or more years of public safety dispatch experience may be entitled to a salary adjustment.
